Great Dairy, No Bull!

 

Starting in the green fields of New Zealand, the home of gourmet yoghurt, The Collective was the brainchild of two ex-chefs, Ofer Shenhav and Angus Allan. Their quest was simply to create the greatest dairy imaginable… no bull!

Kiwis caught on fast and the resulting yoghurt rapidly found new homes across the land. In fact, within 10 months of its conception The Collective was New Zealand’s best -selling gourmet yoghurt. Now not being ones to keep a good thing to themselves, it soon dawned on Ofer and Angus that actually the whole world deserved The Collective in their fridges so why not make it in the UK too.

Really, just how hard could it be? As it turned out darn hard! Until they joined forces with Mike Hodgson and Amelia Harvey, a couple of savvy ‘Brits’ who knew a thing or two about the food industry in the UK.

At The Collective we’re all about ridiculously tasty gourmet yoghurt; why? Cos to us crafting proper yoghurt is a big deal, no bull!

You also may be asking yourself why did we call ourselves The Collective? Pretty simple really, ‘collective’ efforts for the people by the people. You see, The Collective was created when two chefs met a family of cheese makers. All being lovers of fine dairy they couldn’t help but join forces, after all, they were all after the same thing, great dairy!
